This was just something short I thought of after training some of my Pokemon in my PMD Blue game. They're a real fun group to work with, so I thought I'd write this in celebration. Hope you like it's randomness!

An assassin Poliwag for a scout, a psychotic Mankey for offense, and a decisive Ledian for a leader.

Man, what a weird bunch they made.

"Look out!"

The red bug only had time to duck before a splash alerted him that the target had been hit. Turning to look at the Pupitar that had tried to attack him, he saw the Poliwag standing on top of it, her Power Band wrapped around her head like a headband. Her kind was clumsy on land, and yet she moved like a ninja – she baffled all who tried to make sense out of her. But, enigma or not, Bubble was an important part of the team, and Bades knew that all too well. There were many times he could recall that she had saved his abdomen.

"Nice job," said the moody Argor behind them, his pig nose scrunched up and his eyes narrowed into a permanently angry expression as all Mankey do. Bades smiled at the reluctant compliment towards their scout, fully aware of the guy's awkwardness with words, before directing them to keep on moving.

"There!" Argor pointed at the Flaaffy wondering around nervously, and they quickly ran over to him and calmed him down to send him on his way. When Bades chose to remain on Mt. Freeze, however, the team's offense shouted, "Hey, what gives? I thought we were leaving?!"

"Relax," he calmly told him, "we're just going through the rest of the dungeon for training. It won't be that hard, we've already –"

"Aww, man!" The Fighting-Type punched the air angrily in a temper tantrum. "But I don't wanna! This is boring and stupid and – urgh, I wanna punch something!" He swung around and stormed over to a resting Swablu, throwing a Karate Chop at the poor bird before she could even wake up or have a chance to defend herself. It took both of his teammates to calm him down, and after a long time of standing there he asked, "Alright, what do we do next?"

"Well," the Poliwag grinned while spinning an Iron Thorn around her tail expertly, "that depends on the decision-making skills of our wise leader." She let it loose and watched in amusement as the Ledian struggled to catch it without hurting himself, all the while noticing his face turning redder than it already was. With a giggle, she rolled on to the hallway, and after the Ledian glanced nervously at Argor to see him glaring back, he gulped and followed.

Right before they reached the stairs, though, a chirp and fluttering sound reached their ears and alerted them to the Swablu that flew in from the room they had left. Argor stood in surprise as she flew up to him and asked, "Hi, tweet-tweet! You guys look like a funny group! I'm a little dizzy, chirp," to which the Mankey looked a bit embarrassed about, "but I'd like to join you!"

"Uhh," Bades blinked at the sudden request, "sure! Ah, what's…what's your name?"

"Rin, tweet-tweet!" She chirped and spiraled around them before landing on Argor's head, causing his eyes to widen and his cheeks to redden in embarrassment. As the other two snickered at him, she asked, "Shall we go, chirp?"

"Yeah," the Poliwag winked to her leader, "we're off!"
