Nathan walked into the kitchen where he saw Haley chopping up celery. "Hey. Where's Jamie?" He asked walking over to her.

"Your mom has him." Haley said taking a piece of chopped celery and eating it.

Nathan nodded, noting the way the strands of hair fell in front of her face.

Haley glanced at him, the way he was looking at her made her get butterflies in her stomach like they had many years, months, and days before. "What?" She asked using one of her hands to push the hair out of one side of her face to behind her ear.

Nathan smiled. "Nothing, just admiring how sexy you are in the kitchen." He said giving her a playful wink.

Haley turned her head, her mouth open with a smile. "Nathan."

"What? It's true." Nathan said grinning as he walked behind her and put his arms around her.

Haley laughed as she felt his nose nuzzle the side of her head, but it quickly turning into a smile of pleasure as he kissed her neck. She tilted her neck to the side. "Nathan, we can't do this here." She said dropping the knife onto the counter in front of her.

"Who says?" Nathan said moving hair away from her neck to kiss it again.

Haley closed her eyes with a sigh of content. "Someone could walk in." She said not sure what to think at the moment.

"Say it like you believe that would happen." Nathan said with a smirk against her neck.

Haley put her hands on top of his. "Oh, god I hate how much I love you." She said turning around and putting her arms around his neck.

Nathan chuckled. He leaned down and kissed her.

In the midst of the kiss, someone came walking in.

"Nice timing." Haley said a little sarcastically as she parted from his lips. She put her hands on his chest and turned her head to see Deb and Jamie inside the kitchen.

Deb smiled at the two. "Have a nice time while we were gone?" She asked seeing Haley's hands on her son's chest.

"Oh, trust me, we were." Nathan said with a grin.

Haley looked at him and playfully slapped his arm. With a small laugh, she took her hands off his chest and completely turned around to look at the other two.

There was always tonight.
