Life's a Dance

A/N: The song belongs to John Michael Montgomery, not me. I don't own Don or Danny either. This is super short. It was just written as a little idea that popped into my head. Enjoy!

Danny swayed back and forth across the smooth, hardwood floor, his arms full of his lover, Don Flack. His head rested on Don's shoulder, fingers laced behind the taller man's neck. He felt Don's hands sitting on his own hips. He let the tensions of the day drain from his tired body as he leaned farther into Don. He let the music wash over him, singing softly along with the chorus, stumbling over the less familiar lines.
Life's a dance you learn as you go Sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow Don't worry about what you don't know Life's a dance you learn as you go

The longer I live the more I believe

You do have to give if you wanna recieve

There's a time to listen, a time to talk

And you might have to crawl even after you walk

Had sure things blow up in my face

Seen the longshot, win the race

Been knocked down by the slamming door

Picked myself up and came back for more

Life's a dance you learn as you go...

His voice trailed off and Don picked up the chorus. Danny could feel the man's chest vibrate beneath him with every breath he drew. Danny joined Don for the end of the song. Their voices were one in harmony.

Life's a dance Life's a dance Life's a dance Take a chance on love Life's a dance

You learn as you go

He saw Don lean down and met him for a gentle kiss; still swaying in a small circle. They parted from the kiss, but continued to dance long after the song ended; gazing into the other's eyes.
