Mary Alice Brandon looked at her surroundings in darkness, as light spilled over her shoulder. Her family had dropped her out; they had actually considered this kind, thinking happily that they had saved her life, not letting her burn for her sinful visions.
Oh, how wrong they were. They had cruelly tossed her out into the misty darkness, waiting for darkness to seduce her, for eternal damnation to consume her soul. Heartless and cruel, Mary Alice Brandon was left outside, never to return to her once so-called home. She cried, her tears slid down, a pearl, a diamond absently licked her cheek. Mary Alice collapsed, letting all hopes fade, she closed her eyes. Waiting for darkness to consume.
She woke up, the surroundings seemed unreal, white, she thought. An asylum. She got up and opened the door, it didn't budge. She sighed, now what? A man, resembling a god came in, with sleek almost black hair, and brilliant ruby eyes. She stared at him, she couldn't help herself. He was a bit old, she observed. Paled features with almost vulnerable childlikeness cut into her thoughts.
He smiled at her, not at all scary, but a shiver still ran up her delicate spine. His teeth glistened in the light, he advanced. He took out his long hand and wrapped it around hers, her fingers tiny compared to the mans hand. "Hello, my name is Elliot, Elliot Hanson."
Alice's hands tried to curl around unable to grip his hand. She gave up; her mind was all a-scatter, and visions darted in and out, flickering clips of happy days. She grinned "My name is Mary, Mary Alice Brandon, pleasure."
His hands were ice-cold, he leaned towards her and whispered "Have fun, my dear." He pulled her out of the room, downstairs, towards a horse drawn carriage. She looked aside, gasping when seeing a man staring at her, his eyes black, he grinned maliciously, sadistically. His light-brown hair danced over his eyes.
Then he was gone.
