Blackstar sidled up to the sleeping form of Lord Death.

"Hahahaha, now I've got him! Only the greatest of ninjas could see what's under the Grim Reaper's mask!-"

Blackstar clapped a hand to his mouth as Lord Death moved in his sleep on the throne.

"Shit, not so loud," he whispered to himself.

Slowly, he crept up to the white mask. He was born to do this.

Closer...

Closer...

He pulled it off.

"What seems to be the problem, Naigus?" Lord Death asked as he popped in through the doorway.

"My Lord, I wouldn't have called you hear for something at this level, but the student appears to have undergone massive trauma. He keeps muttering to himself, over and over..." She hesitated.

"Mhhh, yes? Do go on..." He prodded, "head" cocked to the side, "eyes" squinting with kindly curiosity.

"Before he passed out, he kept muttering to himself... 'Lord Death', 'Lord Death', 'Lord Death'... he seemed frightened of you. I only called you in since he's asleep." She paused, wrinkling her nose, and pointed at the mass entombed underneath the blankets, only a few blue spikes sticking from underneath. "Poor child, he was so frightened he voided himself."

"Hmm, that is indeed unfortunate," Lord Death said gravely. "Where did you find him?"

"He came here, in fact. He was cowered in the fetal position near the door, sobbing." She paused, wrinkling her nose, and pointed at the small mass entombed underneath the blankets, only a few blue spikes sticking from underneath. "Poor child, he was so frightened he voided himself."

"Oh dear." Death put a large white hand to his "mouth". "Well, I hope he gets better. See to it that he gets Death Weapon Marie's Healing Wavelength."

"Of course. I just wanted to inform you of the matter. If the child has PTSD, and it involves you, we may need to make sure he doesn't come in contact with you until we've looked into it further. He will need time off from school and the missions, naturally."

"Yep! You're such a great nurse Naigus! You care for the students a lot more than that witch ever did!" He cheered, patting her on the back a bit too forcefully.

"Th-thanks," she spluttered.

Lord Death walked to the door. Just as he almost left, Naigus called.

"My Lord! What do you think could have caused this? Some kind of encounter with Madness?"

Lord Death paused. "I don't know," he said.

He turned from Naigus and walked out the door, a small smirk forming on his mask.
