Yami Yugi sat under the moonlight..a gentle breeze blew overhead that made his hair wave within it. Those crimson eyes stared into the pond he sat beside. Emptiness ..
The darkness overwhelmed his heart... his very soul. It devoured the light. It was time for the darkness to rule.. The night, the unknown, his soul. his very existence matched tonight .was he lonely? Was something missing all this while? But yet.. He has Yugi, Tea, Joey and Tristan, even Ryou . He looked into the river.its rippling reflection was enough to send you into a trance. He started to gently sing to himself, an old song that he , when he was Pharaoh , used to sing
" moonlight takes my love,
darkness devours my soul,
my world seems to be empty,
my destiny..
Ra look upon me now,
And kiss my darkness goodbye,
I know ill end this emptiness somehow,
Please listen to my cry.
I'm drowning, I'm falling,
Still no one cares,
I hear Anubis calling,
In this night that is fare.
My light doesn't understand,
Something is crying inside of me,
Please Ra take my hand,
And let me die and be free.
No-longer am I needed,
I do not know why I'm here,
My darkness was feeded,
And now I live in fear.
Those I send to the shadow realm cry in pain,
I don't know why I sent them there, what had I to gain,
I've lost the one person I love,
My dark angel comforts me now,
For now I am ready to leave,
If only Ra would allow..."
Yami sighed and fidgeted with the cuffs on his arms which has chains hanging from them. His tears fell down his cheeks, crying blood... he had lost the one he loved... And now his darkness only comforted him this night.
