Prologue
Eons ago, long before Humans had discovered the art of written word, there was a great and terrible battle. A battle to decide the fate of the Humans. A battle between the Angels, protectors of the Humans, and the Demons, who sought to enslave the Humans and rule over Earth.
The Angels, led by their Goddess, Starlet, fought to protect the Humans from an eternity of slavery to the Demons. However, the ruler of the Demons, Crusader, tricked Starlet into falling in love with him, thus ending the war.
Starlet and Crusader bore a child together. A child born of both the Light and the Dark. Crusader had planned for this child all along, and had intended to use him as a weapon to help enslave the Humans.
However, Starlet had witnessed Crusader slaughter a village. Starlet wouldn't stand for this and called upon the aid of the Guardian of Time.
Together, they fought against Crusader, and in the end, sealed him and the Demons away forever. Starlet died in the process and her child was taken by the Guardian.
The Guardian thought it would be best to take the child to an era where Humans lived without any knowledge of Demons or Angels.
The child was taken to the future. The Angels never saw the child or the Guardian again.
