This is from a prompt suggested to me on tumblr by jorimuthafuckinglover. It read: Cat tries pick up lines on Jade. They're not together, that's her goal.
Jade sat at the foot of Cat's bed getting the camera ready for their new The Slap video. As she was inputting the correct settings, she wondered why she had agreed to this. "Hey, Jade," Cat said from her spot against the headboard.
"Hmm?" Jade responded, not paying attention to the redhead.
"Did it hurt?" Cat asked.
Jade frowned, but she was still concentrating on the camcorder. "Did what hurt?" she asked absent-mindedly.
"When you fell from heaven," Cat said; then she tried to keep herself from giggling.
Jade's motions stopped suddenly. "What?" she murmured.
"Hey, Jade," Cat said again.
Jade was quiet for a second. "What?" she asked.
"Is that a mirror in your pocket?" Cat asked.
What the…
This time Cat didn't wait for a response. "Cause I can see myself in your pants."
Jade turned her head so fast toward the girl she almost got whiplash. "What in the…" she started to ask.
"Hey, Jade. Can I have a quarter?"
"Cat," Jade started to warn her.
"Cause my mom said to call her when I found true love."
Jade barely had time to wonder what the hell she had gotten herself into when Cat said, "Hey, Jade. Nice shoes.."
"Oh my god!" Jade exclaimed.
Edit: I figured I should mention that, because of cultural differences or whatnot, some of you may not be aware that the last thing Cat is saying is a pick up line that goes, "Nice shoes, wanna fuck?"
