A/N My first chapter of my first story. I hope you like it.

Her eyes opened, and meet the sun dead on. This focused her to sit up and cover her eyes. "My head hurts. OH why did I have to go and look at that wired glowing thing? IF only I stayed with the group." Her put her hand to her head.

"So you really think that we can get all the gold this guy has." A young man's voice came out of nowhere. It did not sound like he was very near. It sounded like the wind had carried his voice to her.

"I'm I really hearing voice or is it my mind playing tricks." She looked around to see if she could see anyone. No one in view.

"Like I told you Senho, the tomb is not sealed till they have all the gold in. We can take what is in there already, which will be a lot. But we may run in to the Pharaoh Yami's guards. That have been placed in front of Nudohin's tomb." An older man's voice went out strong and loud. It seemed very near.

Afraid that she might be found she searched with her eyes to find a place to hide. She spotted some rocks. Not sure if she stand up if she would be seen. Not sure to crawl to be to slow. She went on hands and knees to the rocks. There she found a small space between rocks that she could just fit in. After she was in she looked out a little, then pulled her head and listened.

She started to hear faint footsteps "Do you think that you're up to it. This is not going to be easy like the other ones. Senho this is the real thing now." The man's voice seemed to near. Closer then the footsteps.

"Maybe the wind is carrying the footsteps and voices closer to me." She said softy to herself. She felt something crawling up her leg.

"What do you mean Kanjo? The real ." Senho was cut off by a scream. A beetle on her leg startled her and she let out a scream. Putting her hand to her mouth to cut off the rest of the scream. The footsteps stopped dead away.

"Did you hear that Kanjo? It sounded like a scream." Senho said so quiet that Kanjo could hardly hear him. She moved the beetle and moved back a little and sat on her legs to keep them hidden.

"I think it was a scream." Kanjo rang out. "I think that someone has over heard our plan." Her legs were going num so she moved back a little more so she was sitting on her but with her legs folded beside her.

"But Kanjo, Why would someone be out here. Would they be trying to find out something, or to follow us?" Senho asked Kanjo in a low voice.

"You're right, I think there is someone following us, or has been waiting for us to come along. Hmm, but where would they hide out here." Kanjo let his voice be loud and strong to scare anyone hiding. This made her move back more. For now she was uneasy, they know that someone was out there but they did not know where. So if she could keep herself hidden, then maybe she will life to see the next day.

"There is no place to hide out here." Senho looks around, then points. "Unless they are hiding in the rocks over there. Kanjo looked where Senho was pointing.

"Yes, lets check over by the rocks." Kanjo said in a strong voice. Hearing this made her move back move. She found that the rocks went underground, so there was a lot of room to move around in. She got herself out of the light that was pouring though the space in the rocks, and sat in the shadows within the rocks. With her knees to her chest and trying to breath as soft as she could.
