You meet up with Gabriella your best friend at the front of the school on a normal school day.
The sun is bright and there isn't a cloud in the sky- a perfect day.
Gabriella looks soo excited about something, and you ask her why.
It turns out that today is Troy and Gabriella's first year anniversary of being a couple and Gabriella is awaiting an amazing anniversary present.
You squeal in excitement, because you know that Troy is such a great boyfriend to Gabriella that the present is going to be great!
You and Gabriella walk inside, arms interlocked and walk through the halls of East High until you reach your lockers.
You take out your books when a blonde-haired drama queen catches your eye as she walks towards you and your best friend.
"Why hello Taylor, Gabriella," she says, glaring at you before looking over to Gabriella with a twinge of what you perceived as malice in her eyes. "I hear it's you anniversary today Gabriella- I do hope that nothing ruins your day."
Gabriella looks taken-back as Sharpay gives her a look of deceit.
"It won't," you defend, glaring back at Sharpay violently.
Sharpay rolls her eyes before huffing and strutting away, leaving a puff of strong perfume behind her.
You re-assure Gabriella that nothing is wrong and that Sharpay could never ruin the relationship that she and Troy have.
She thanks you and you go off to homeroom where Troy and Gabriella greet and share a lustful kiss.
You grin with pride before waving to Chad who blows you a kiss in return.
You sit down and Ms Darbus goes on about nothing really important before the bell goes and everyone goes off to their lessons.
The day goes fast and before you know it, it's the last lesson of the day.
You excuse yourself from lesson as you really need to go to the bathroom so you wonder off alone through the halls but just outside the girls bathroom you suddenly smell the familiar sent of Sharpay's perfume.
You groan silently as this obviously meant that Sharpay was in the bathroom, but still you quietly push open the door hoping not to alarm Sharpay; but instead of seeing Sharpay looking at herself in the mirror like you suspect, you see Sharpay and Troy- wearing next to nothing kissing passionately against one of the sinks.
You cover your mouth in shock, but before you know it the two lovers see you.
You duck out of the door and briskly walk back along the hallway, feeling rather odd after what you've just seen.
"Taylor wait!" Troy yells from behind you, but you keep going. "Taylor stop!"
Troy pulls on your arm and you turn around, your eyes going teary.
"What Troy? What do you want to say!" you demand, angrily.
Troy pulls on his jacket and breaths in deeply.
"Please, please don't do anything rash," he pleads.
"You mean like don't tell Gabriella!"
"Yes, please don't tell her," Troy cries. "She doesn't deserve to be hurt like this. I know I'm a horrible person- but don't make her pay for it. It's just a one off thing, I promise. Just please, don't make her upset."
You tug him off your hand and keep walking, returning to class and sitting back down without saying a word.
You turn around to look at Gabriella, looking down at the beautiful bracelet Troy had bought her.
What do you do?
