"We should get going." Abby says as he continues to scribble on the piece of paper sitting between them.
"Why? We're not done." He doesn't bother to pause or look up.
"Because its late and everyone else left Marcus." At last he lifts his head and surveys the classroom; as Abby said the near empty classroom.
"I still think I should I mean we should finish." Marcus shots her look before going back to the project. Abby rolls her eyes as she stands up.
"Marcus you need to relax! Who cares if you're not the best or first all the time?" He sighs.
"Because only the best make it. Only the best are selected for the best careers which can turn into a position of power. And Abigail Clarke I want to be chancellor one day." She tries to hold in but within seconds she starts to laugh.
"Yeah alright its good to have dreams! Hey I think one day within our lifetimes we'll be on Earth!" Marcus slams his open hand on the table raising himself in the chair glaring at her. Abby cowers back slightly.
"Now your just being stupid. But mark my words I will be chancellor one day!"
"Whatever Marcus. Just don't become an ass who knocks down everyone including themselves in the process. I am leaving if you don't need my help that is?' He again shoots her a look. 'Fine. Goodnight Marcus." Abby knows better than to wait for a response.
