"Oh, Hello Harry." Luna Lovegood said in her soft, dreamy voice. "Hi Luna." Harry Potter replied to his girlfriend of a year. "Where are we going today, Harry?" She asked. "Here, grab my arm and I'll take you there." He said. As soon as Luna grabbed his arm, he apparated. Luna gasped softly at the sight before her. A blanket and picnic basket was lying on the floor in front of them surrounded by many green and beautiful plants. They had a apparated to a greenhouse and the smells from all the plants made a rich, wonderful smell to Luna. "Neville said I could use it for tonight." Harry whispered softly. Luna nodded and started unfolding the blanket. "It's beautiful, Harry. Thank you." She smiled at him and he sat on the blanket she had laid out. "I wanted to do something special for your birthday." He as he opened the basket. "Now, Miss Lovegood would you like some wine?" He asked holding open the wine bottle and a glass. "Wine, Harry? I thought you didn't care for wine." Luna asked, taking the glass of wine he offered her. "I don't but you do." He smiled at her and she smiled back. "Thank you, You are very sweet." Luna said softly laying her head on his shoulder and he wrapped a arm around her. "No, thank you. No one is as wonderful as you." Harry said. "What is for dinner, Harry?"
Luna and Harry quietly for the most part, content in each other's company. "I have one more surprise for you, Luna." Harry said as he stood up after they had finished eating. "What is it, Harry?" She asked. "One year ago we went on our first date and today I want to ask you something." Harry got down on one knee and Luna smiled happily. "I love you with all my heart. Others may bully you for being different but that's what I love the most about you. Your quirks, your smile, your smile, you're like a drug to me. I love you, Luna Lovegood and I offer you this promise ring. One day I promise to marry you." Luna smiled and said " I love you, Harry Potter and I accept your promise." Luna then leaned over and kissed Harry very softly. They had never kissed before, they were waiting for the right moment. To Luna this was the right moment. Harry held Luna's hand when they broke the kiss and slipped the ring on her finger. "I love you" They whispered softly.
