This goes with the story of the naruto manga, while being rather close to the actual storyline I am telling it from the perspective of a female naruto. Things will also be changed to fit my story.

There are tales told to children of a great fox demon who could destroy mountains, decimate villages, and kill thousands with a single swing from one of its nine tails. While to the children of Konoha this beast is a mere legend, to the older generation this fox is a reality. While not much is known about the demon and how it came to be, many remember a night 10 years ago where a hero died. This hero did everything for the village, even sacrificing his own life, to save it. This man with the use of a single jutsu sealed the fox away into the body of a newborn baby girl whose umbilical cord had just been cut.
This child he wanted regarded as a hero. She would be the container of a beast so powerful that without her the village would be no more. Unfortunately, the hero died that night and while some did see this child as a hero, others could only look at her in scorn. She was the reason that so many people died in that attack. It must be her fault he died. These people never saw her as a container for the beast, instead they saw her as the beast itself. For this she would live the first years of her life beaten and ridiculed in the orphanage she was dumped in after the disaster.
At the age of five she applied to the ninja academy sick of the abuse. The academy offered students a free apartment to live if they so chose to. It was a way to keep orphans from practicing dangerous jutsu around younger children. She didn't want to be a ninja far from it, she had developed a fear of them one night when a drunk ninja encountered her heading back to the orphanage from a park. He beat her to near death and if it wasn't for her quick ability to heal the child would of died that night without a soul to care. She knew her fear to be irrational but her fear never died and even as she turned ten and took her third test to graduate a fear lingered in her.
This is just the beginning of a girls life. A girl who one day would be destined to be one of the greatest ninjas of her time. This is the tale of one Uzumaki, Naruto and how even in the most difficult times she grew to be a feared kunoichi.
