Author's Note- This is a story about the things that JKR mentions, but never talks about again. CH. 1 was also written as the chapter title, but since I am making more like it, I am posting more things like it.

Up on the Rooftop
When you approach a school you expect to find children running around, especially during recess. You do not expect them to disappear from being chased and reappear on the top of the roof. Such was the case t Whinging Primary on June 10, 1990.
Harry was doing his arithmetic when the bell for recess rang. Unlike all of the other boys, he did not wish to go to recess. Usually, he was able to help his teacher clean the room, or get caught up with some work. But, today there was a substitute. She was an awfully cross lady, who would do anything to get out of the classroom. So, needless to say, Harry trudged out of the room, being left behind by all of the other kids.
Suddenly, his cousin, Dudley, and his friends came running after him. They ran through the cafeteria, gymnasium, outside, around the playground, under the playground, on the playground, and around the football field, when Dudley and his gang finally cornered Harry, against the school building. He closed his eyes, getting ready for the numerous punches and kicks that thay would give him, when all of the sudden he felt a tug on the back of his pants. He thought, 'This isn't very Dudley- like,' and opened his eyes. He was swirling through a vortex of red, yellow, a green hues. When he closed his eyes again, he was on the roof.
He slowly looked down, and saw Dudley and his friends running to find Headmistress Shehan. He leaned against the eves, and prepared for a week locked in his cupboard, and suspension from the school. Dudley came back with the Headmistress, and his aunt and uncle. He was crying that Harry was trying to beat them up, so Dudley tried to protect himself, and when he did, Harry climbed up the wall. Obviously, the headmistress did not see how unlikely this was, and suspended Harry for the last week of school. Harry knew that this was bad, because he would not be graduating, and he would be forced to fast for 7 days.
Harry's uncle grabbed him by the scruff of his neck, and led them to the car. Harry's last thoughts as he left for school were, "This is going to be a long summer." He was right to the degree that he never thought possible.
