Vanessa Doofenshmirtz was feeling down in the dumps. She tried talking to her dad about her depression, but he was too busy working on another evil scheme. On top of that, she and her mom were currently not on speaking terms. Everything seemed to be going downhill. Candace wanted to cheer her up, so she invited Vanessa over to her house for a sleepover.

"Sleepovers are kid stuff…" Vanessa remarked, as she reluctantly unpacked her stuff in Candace's bedroom. She sighed to herself and laid out her toothbrush and pajamas.

Candace smiled and shoved at her playfully. "Do you wanna play truth or dare?"

"Do you wanna stop pushing on me?"

"Sorry." Candace folded her hands, ready to be on her best behavior. Vanessa turned around to face her orange-haired friend.

"All right Candace, let's get this settled... if I'm going to stay then we've all got to keep our hands and feet to ourselves, got it?"

Candace giggled. "I'll be good! Promise!"

Vanessa nodded, then went back to unpacking her things. Candace studied her for a moment and spoke, "So what do you want to do?"

The brunette shrugged. Then Candace had an idea. "Let's give each other a pedicure!"

"I don't think so," Vanessa replied, chuckling.

"Why not? Here, let me do you." Candace threw Vanessa across the bed and began tugging off her black boot.

Vanessa watched skeptically. "Are you sure?"

"Hey, don't look at me like I've lost my peanuts!" Candace grunted as she yanked and tugged, trying to get Vanessa's boot off. When she did get it off, she had to pinch her nose. "Eww. Did anybody ever tell you that your feet smell like rotten cheese and egg sandwiches?"

"Well, not lately," Vanessa said with a smirk. She then picked up her boot to put it back on. "Let's just forget whole thing, okay?"

Candace was little relieved. "Okay."

"So now what?" the brunette sighed.

Candace grinned impishly. "How about a… tickle fight!" She dove at Vanessa and started tickling her.

Vanessa fell back on the bed, giggling and squirming. "Cahahahandace! Stahahahap that! Aahahahahahahaha! Y-You are so dehehehead! Cut it out! NOW! Eeehehehheehhee!"

"You cannot escape YOUR DOOM!" said Candace, in a Dracula voice. She pinned Vanessa to the bed as she scribbled her fingers on her stomach. Vanessa was laughing up a storm.

"Oh God! Nohohohoho! Hahahahahahaha! CANDACE! You are nuhuhuhuts! I-I hate being tihihihickled! LAY OFF!" squealed Vanessa, as she struggled violently. Finally she managed to grab Candace's wrists. She held them tightly as she caught her breath. "C-C-Candace?"

"Yes?"

Vanessa smiled mischievously. "Payback!" With that, she started tickling Candace's sides and stomach. Both the girls wrestled on the bed, tickling each other and giggling like crazy.

After five minutes, they were both exhausted. They collapsed while laying next to each other.

"So… you think I'm nuts?" asked Candace, breathless.

"What?"

"You freakin' said I was nuts!" Candace reminded her. "You really think I'm nuts?"

"Sure," replied Vanessa. "Somewhere between… walnut and pistachio."

"Very funny," Candace snorted, then rolled over and started getting back up. "You hungry, Vanessa?"

Vanessa shrugged. "I guess."

"Well, I'm going to downstairs to pop the popcorn. You can stay here and pick out a movie if you want." Candace offered. Then she went downstairs, leaving Vanessa by herself.

The brunette smiled to herself in contentment. She was happy to have a friend like Candace.
