I couldn't believe what had happened I found myself staring a little to too long and too many times at Rei. It couldn't be, could I have fallen in love with my friend and teammate Rei Kon. I always found that he was the only one who could understand me. His quiet attitude reflected his maturity and strength, which I admired. He always kept calm about everything. However, I still didn't understand how he put up with Tyson. As I saw it Rei was the glue, he kept the team together; it was because of him that I even stayed. I didn't feel like I belonged.

I found it odd that Kai was staring at me; every time I looked he turned his head away. I didn't know what was wrong; maybe he didn't really like me. But I liked him in fact I loved him. But I was too scared to tell him. He was my team captain and friend and I couldn't jeopardize our relation so for the time being I decided to keep my feelings a secret. It wasn't easy every time I saw him I couldn't help but think of how much I needed him. I knew sooner or later I would have to confront him. Kai was standing on the balcony looking towards the sunset; he turned to me and asked, "isn't the sunset beautiful". I was surprised, Kai wasn't the one to talk like that but I tuned to him and said, "yes it's very beautiful". Kai decided to leave at that very moment where I found myself almost ready to say I have been longing for you, that didn't happen.

It was another day and my longing for Rei grew. I knew that I would have to talk to him about my feelings. I decided that everyone could take the day off from training. Max and Tyson had gone to visit Max's mom, so I had the whole day to myself. I was lucky Rei was still here and like me seemed bored and had nothing to do. I decided to stay in my room. I was becoming restless, Rei was the only thing on my mind and I needed to go for a walk. When I went downstairs I found Rei wasn't there so I left a note saying I would be gone for an hour. As I walked I realized that it wasn't helping, I needed to tell Rei about my feelings. I decided to go back to the house and I saw the most beautiful site, Rei was in the kitchen cooking, he wore a white apron that said, "kiss the cook".

I saw Kai walking into the kitchen and realized what I was wearing. I started to take the apron when Kai said, "don't do that," I was stunned at what he had just said. I decided to keep it on and I noticed Kai coming closer and closer. Soon he was so close that I could feel his breath upon me. He leaned over and said "I need to talk to you," at that moment I knew I had to tell him.

I leaned over and told him that I needed to tell him something. I wasn't sure if I could go through with it. But than I thought that if I never told him, I could lose Rei forever. So I whispered I love you. Rei was in complete shock and I almost ran out of the room but my legs wouldn't move. I was afraid of rejection and then he opened his mouth to speak and said I love you too. I knew from that moment on that what I had longed for was finally mine. I raised my lips to his and I kissed him with passion.
