Sarah stood stock still. Partly because she was nervous and partly because she was shocked. For there in front of her was a huge glass tank filled with bodies. Lots of pure white bodies that were swimming(or maybe they were floating) on their backs.
Her voice was very far away. She wasn't even looking at the person who stood behind her.
"Mr. Wonka? What is this place?"
His head was hovering just inches from her own. Sarah swallowed hard.
"That is one of my proudest inventions"
"Your proud of an invention that encases dead bodies?"
Willy smiled. "Why would I not?"
"Because it's disgusting?"
Willy smiled once again. "You know why I brought you here?"
"To scare the living daylights out of me?"
No! It's because...well let me show you!"
Willy started to walk toward a submarine-looking door. Every step that he took filled the huge spaces of silence. They would echo off the walls and bounce off into Sarah's ears. She reluctatly followed the candy man. When she got to the door, Willy opened it, allowing huge amounts of black steam to blow into her face.
"Well?"
"Well what? You don't expect me to go in there do you?"
"Of course not! I expect I will have to push you in!"
And before Sarah could make any course of action. Willy pushed into into the tank, slamming the door closed.
Sarah felt the oddest sensation. She was floating but she wasn't sinking. She was swimming but their was no water.
"Willy Wonka! Open this door!" Sarah screamed, but she couldn't hear her own voice. It was like someone pressed the mute button. Her lips moved soundlessly.
Having no voice she tried banging at the door. Nothing. She tried again and again and just when she was about to try screaming, she felt something cold grip her losely around the ankle. Sarah looked down to see that one of the dead bodies had spung to life and was now pulling her further into the tank.
Sarah yelped again to no avail. She grabbed onto the door handle, but as the pulling got worse her hands slipped. What was worse was that a second body had taken her by the neck. She tried thrashing about, to fend them off but that made them more tightly hold onto her. And it wasn't long until she couldn't breathe.
"Willy..." she said helplessly as she drowned in the black fog. The bodies let go of Sarah as she fell onto her back and turned milk white. Their work was done.
"Another one bites the dust" Willy whispered at the spectacle in front of him. The man then started to whistle his Welcome Song as he departed the room.
