Roxas groaned and banged his head against the glass window. Posted on the window was a sign that read:

Out of roses. Sorry!

Happy Valentines day!

"Why does fate have to hate me," he sighed. In his hands was a red heart shaped box of chocolate he was planning on giving to his girlfriend but he was also planning on giving her some roses as well. And now he had to find out that the only flower shop in town was completely out of roses. Now he had to think of an alternative. Questions was what.

While he was thinking this he couldn't help but get angry at his brother Ventus as well. His brother even told him to get the roses before the flower shop ran out.

"Why does he always have to be right?" Roxas grumbled to himself as he started walking. "Now I got to think of something else to go with the chocolate."

Even though he knew his brother wasn't going to let him live this down he decided to go ask him on what to do.

Ventus was busy cleaning up the kitchen after his girlfriend Faia had just left after their Valentine's lunch. He heard the door open and presumed it was his brother Roxas. He was proven right when he saw Roxas trudge into the kitchen with his head hung low.

"Something wrong bro?" he asked.

Roxas looked up at his brother than looked away slightly blushing.

"Th-they ran out," he said.

Ventus, catching on as to why his brother seemed embarrassed, smirked. "Come again?"

"I said they ran out. The flower shop ran out of roses."

Ventus chuckled at his brother. "Told you if you didn't get them earlier than they would run out."

"I know I know," Roxas sighed. "But now I can figure out what to do since now I only have chocolates to give to Naminé. I need some advice."

"Just chocolates huh?" Ventus said tapping his chin in thought. He thought for a few minutes before another smirk made his way onto his face. "I think I may have an idea."

"Really? What?"

Ventus came over then whispered something into his brother's ear. Once he was done he smiled.

"You sure that will work?" Roxas asked looking at his brother suspiciously.

"I'm positive."

"Okay then I guess I'll be back soon," Roxas said leaving.

"At least, I'm sure it will work." Ventus shrugged. "Hard to tell."

Naminé was patiently waiting on the beach for her boyfriend Roxas to arrive. Right now she was looking at the sunset and admiring the view. It reminded her of the time when Roxas had gathered his courage to ask her out. She was a bit surprised at first but said yes. She fidgeted with the rim of her white summer dress while she waited.

"Naminé!" she heard.

Her heart filled with joy as she looked over her shoulder to see Roxas running up to her. She smiled and stood up.

"Happy Valentine's Day!" he said handing her the chocolates.

"Thanks! I love chocolates!" Naminé smiled. Before she could say anything else Roxas kissed her right then and there. Once he pulled back he smiled while Naminé blushed crazy.

"Sorry Nam they ran out of roses," Roxas said (she managed to notice he was blushing too).

Naminé smiled and gave Roxas a quick peck on the check.

I don't mind, she thought as she lead him to the blanket she had laid down. The blonde couple just enjoyed watching the rest of the sunset together.
