Disclaimer: Nope, I don't own Sherlock Holmes, Sherlock Holmes 2, the original stories, or Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law. Do I wish I did? I don't think I need to answer that, as the answer possibly has already crossed your mind.
A/N: Okay…so I'm so excited for Sherlock Holmes 2. The posters are awesome, and the trailer… well the trailer is amazing. Incase you didn't know, it's based loosely off of The Final Problem, which just so happens to be my favorite short story from the books. This short one-shot is sorta movie verse, after the falls when Watson comes back, though since the movie isn't out yet I can't tell you if Guy Ritchie made it appear Holmes died in the falls. If it turns out he didn't, then just think of this as book verse. But I still want Jude Watson and RDJHolmes no matter what xD. Enjoy, please.
"Baker Street shall never be the same again." Thought John Watson, as he stepped out of his hansom, and looked the familiar road up and down. It looked as it always had; dirty children dashing across the road and in return receiving angry yells from cabbies, couples going about their day, newspaper stands waiting for customers, and the familiar sign that read Baker Street in big letters.
But something was missing. Someone was missing. And to John Watson, that person's absence changed the entire atmosphere of London. He stepped up the familiar door that read 22-1 B and knocked. "Why Mr. Holmes, it's about time you-"His old landlady, Mrs. Hudson, had opened the door and stopped midsentence when she saw Watson's sad and somewhat guilty expression.
"Dr. Watson…" She gasped softly. "But where's…" But she already knew the answer. Watson found he couldn't meet her eyes. He looked away, at the ground, at the gate, at anything but her mourning eyes. "He's gone Mrs. Hudson. He's gone for good this time."
Please review, if you aren't too sad. :D
