Dib smiled as he prepared,
To brake into Zim's base.
I alert my all my senses,
Preparing for a chase.
I go down, hastily,
in his inner lair.
Whither or not he sees me,
I really do not care.
Tonight is the final night.
I'm finishing it, today.
Dib grinned as the thought of it,
Things were finally going his way.
With a gun in his hand,
And determination in his mind.
Tonight was not the night,
To be merciful or kind.
His heart was heavy,
With what he was about to do.
Well what would you feel,
If this happened to you?
You would feel betrayed,
By your mind and your heart.
You wouldn't be able to do it.
Even though it's smart.
It's for the best,
I thought as I look for my foe.
The world will be better without him,
I can't do it; though I know.
It'll be easier to expose him,
If he's already dead.
This he understood,
Though his heart still felt like lead.
He saw a flurry of movement,
And a flash of green,
Without a second thought,
He fired his machine.
BANG BANG BANG
Dib heard,
Shot inside the head.
A terrible sadness burst from his heart,
Invader Zim was dead.
Dib tried his best,
Not to let the pain show.
But he had just killed his nemesis.
His long-term Irken foe.
But Grief flowed into his veins,
For what he'd just done.
His final and only regret.
It was over.
He had won.
