This story was written for September Event: Back to School, September Writing Club's Sophie's Shelf, Count Your Buttons, Trope of the Month, and Book Club on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. For Back to School I used the prompt of 6. (object) Rucksack/Backpack. For Sophie's Shelf I used the Trio Era Femslash/Slash pairing of 11. Colin/Harry. For Count Your Buttons I used the prompt of dialogues 5. "I can't believe I've finished already." "I can.". For Trope of the Month I used prompt 1. Setting: Hotel. For Book Club I used the prompt set of (relationship) boyfriend, (action) smiling, and (dialogue) "Is it because I'm obviously more gay than you?" for Linus. Warning mentions of sex before the story takes place and hints of homophobia and self loathing if you squint. If you are uncomfortable reading these subjects please turn back now. Colin rolled onto his back trying to catch his breathe. When Harry had asked him to meet him this cheap hotel he never in a million years would have guessed it be to have sex with him. Looking over at Harry who was almost asleep already he wondered it he did it right.
"I can't believe I've finished already," he panted still slightly breathless after the events of earlier.
"I can," murmured Harry throwing his arms around Colin and pulling the younger man closer to him. "This wasn't your first time. Was it?"
Colin felt his face flush at the mention of it being his first time. He found himself nodding against Harry's chest. Smiling he looked up at Harry maybe he'd just asked the question he wanted to ask since Harry had started kissing him once he entered the room.
"Does this make me like your boyfriend?" he asked not letting the hope color his voice like he knew it probably was. "Or something like that?"
"Colin," Harry chided him trying not to harsh, "you know I"m married. I'm married Ginny. This can be nothing more than a one time thing. Do you understand?"
"Is it because I'm obviously more gay than you?" he asked letting the hurt seep into his voice.
"Colin, keep your voice down. You don't want anyone to hear."
"What that Harry Potter is having a relationship with another boy even though he's married? Is that what you're afraid someone will hear? Or are you afraid that someone will find out that you like our time together?"
"Get dressed, Colin. It was a mistake for me to call you."
He rolled out of Harry's arms standing and walking over to pile of clothes by the door. Pulling on his pants and work shirt that he worn earlier he grabbed his rucksack off the floor by Harry's discarded clothes.
"Maybe it was a mistake for you," Colin yelled angrily. "But it wasn't for me."
Looking over his shoulder at Harry's shame filled face he stormed out the door slamming it closed behind him. That was the last time he would ever answer any calls from Harry Potter.
