Aria is was an outgoing, fun loving girl whose life wasn't perfect, but not bad either. She had looks, friends, and an amazing personality, everyone loved her and she was a good little girl. Hard to accomplish when your only 8, everything was nice and happy. That is…until the fire.
The fire destroyed her life, Aria's house and memories were destroyed in the fire. She and her little black stuffed bunny had to witness the end of her family.
Nine years later…
Over the course of nine years, Aria had been in and out of orphanages until she finally got adopted by Akira and Natsume Takehara, a wealthy family that lived in the Kanto region.
She had a lovely Victorian styled home, located two doors down from her best friend and future killer known as Kira, Light Yagami.

Aria woke up to Celmisia by Kanon Wakeshima playing from her alarm clock.
With a sigh, threw off her dark purple sheets and changed out of her black silk night gown and into a grey button up top and a black pencil skirt.
She then walked gracefully over to her vanity and put on her makeup which consisted of black eyeliner and smoky eye shadow with nude glossy lips.
"Aria, sweetie, are you awake?" Her mother Akira called.
Aria smiled, it was just like her mom to check up on her even though she was almost an adult.
I love you mom, she thought.
"Yes mom, I'm awake, I'm coming down now," Aria replied, walking down the two flights of stairs to the kitchen.
"How did you sleep?" Akira Takehara asked.
"Good, thank you. These pancakes are delicious!" She said.
"I'm glad you like them, now off to school you!" Her mother said, laughing.
"Bye mom," Aria said kissing her mother's cheek then slipping into her heels at the entrance of her house.
Light was waiting for her outside like he always did.
"Hey," Light said.
"Hello Light, to what do I owe the pleasure of seeing your beautiful face this morning?" She said teasingly, hugging Light.
"I came to see your beautiful face" Light replied smoothly.
"If I hadn't known you as long as I did, I probably would've died right there," She said, smiling
Light laughed. "Let's get going," he said, holding out his hand
She nodded and took his hand.
They arrived in the classroom together and took their seats.
It was a little while later into the lecture and neither of them were paying much attention, they both saw the notebook fall.
Aria reached over and touched Light's arm to see if he saw it too.
He nodded.
The bell rang and they collected there books and went to see what the black book was.
Light walked over to it and opened it.
"Aria," He said, reaching back for her.
She took his hand
"Is that…?" She asked, leaning over to see the book.
