I wanted to write something about what Davina was thinking about after seeing Kol/Kaleb... Let me know what you guys think!- JasZ
Davina has seen him about the Quarter and always wanted to speak to him. Each time she attempts to go up to him, something causes her to shy away. Perhaps it's the fact that all her past relationships ended horribly first love committed suicide but she knows that he was murdered, with no proof she couldn't sway the law.
Her mother was ready to sacrifice her for the sake of their powers. How could her mother turn a blind eye on her only child? For false promises that she'd raise once again and gain more power. She would never allow her child to go through such a thing.
Marcel, her adoptive father, he saved her and took care of her. For him she'd do anything and she did. That of course blew up in her face. He was using her to control her people, not that she minded that. Vengeance was on her daily planner. But he failed to inform her that the elder witch was dead at the hands of the noble one. She was upset and hurt. It was clear as day that he wanted one thing and that was to be king of New Orleans.
The Mikaelsons'… Each used her for something. If she didn't comply threats were opted out by the Hybrid, Hence Tim dying. Bribing from the Noble one, which did work out until she discovered that once again she was being used. Girl power from the Female original, who really felt the need to help her against her brothers. Later it was revealed that she was with Marcel…
The only one in the supernatural community she could and can rely on is Josh. The over optimistic vampire, who wormed his way into her heart. With him, she doesn't feel the need to hide all herself doubts and fears. They are best friends that always have each other's backs.
She wants to chase after the man, that she'd seen at the shop. But like stated she can't for fear that once again she'd be used again. She can't have that and if destiny is to have them cross paths once again then so be it. But for now she'd let the world believe she content with things.
Therefore only in her dreams will she allow the man to enter. There he would hold her and whisper that he'll always be there for her. To protect her from the evils of the world that force their way into her home. To have her wrapped in his arms at night swaying to the music that only plays for them. She'd never let him near her heart….It's the only way she can protect herself…
"Only in my dreams.." she whispers as she goes about her day...
Happy Valentine's Day! So this wasn't what i wanted to write about.. but once again I can never plan what my wick little mind wants.. I hope you enjoyed this One-shot. This was inspired by the song 'Only in my dreams' By Laura. Just to let you guys know I'll be posting a multi-chap on a series of events that involve Kol and Davina soon.
