Full Summary:
Molly finds an injured girl in the woods. Can she make it back to the Sanctuary without falling into the Romans hands? And who is the girl?
Found:
She was lying in the woods, not moving. Her back was stained in blood and there was a deep gash on her leg. Molly moved carefully as not to alert anyone to her being in the area. She approached the girl very carefully, not knowing if she was alive or dead. Her horse was nearby and if she could get the girl back to the Sanctuary, then maybe the girl could live. But first she had to make sure she was alive.
Bending down to feel for a pulse, her heel snapped a twig and the girl moaned. She froze, knew that the girl was alive and whistled for the horse. Once the horse was near, she gently picked the girl up in her arms and put her on the horse. Climbing up behind the girl, Molly made sure that the girl couldn't fall off. She placed one leg on either side of the horse's neck, took the reins and kicked the horse into motion.
The horse took off at a gallop, headed straight for the Sanctuary. She moved with thought. She couldn't be caught by the Romans or both of them would die. She moved her horse around the trees and into the open fields that stretched between her and the Sanctuary. Once out in the opening, after making sure no Romans were around, she kicked the horse into a breakneck speed and thundered toward the Sanctuary.
Tully saw Molly first and called for Conor, Catlin and Fergus. Molly never stopped as she maneuvered the horse around trees and bushes. Finally reaching the Sanctuary, Molly let the horse rest as she saw her friends and father moving towards her.
