Shino presses into Kiba roughly, their chests pressing together. Kiba lets out a slight whine as his back rams brutally against the coarse bark of a tree. Shino captures Kiba's gaze and it is plenty to settle the typically boisterous teen. Even after the silent Nin looks away, Kiba continues to examine Shino's ember eyes, something seldom revealed to the light of day, let alone another being. He is attempting to find their target again. A few moments before, Kiba had knocked Shino's glasses off during a squabble. Unfortunately, for them, their target had been walking beneath them at the time. When his head shot up, Shino reacted by pushed himself against Kiba and Kiba against the tree, making them as small as possible. Their job is a simple one. See if this women's husband is cheating on her. They already established that he is and they were making their way home when they started quarrelling. Shino presses closer still, now resting his chin on Kiba's shoulder. Kiba's breathing hitches and he forces down the inclination to taste the accessible neckline. Shino twists slightly at Kiba's unexpected erratic panting. Ember eyes flash and Kiba swallows hard. His tongue darts out apprehensively. Those welcoming lips are so close to his own. Kiba watches in utter enthrallment as Shino speaks melodiously to him. When did this mission become so complicated?
