Long ago in the ancient past
I remember a life when we first met
In a dark shadow world Under a big full moon
There and then I could tell You'd try to break my will....
I n the not to distant furture...
Blue eyes flickered angerly, shutting the door with a bang, yet again, he had lost. Not a duel mind you, not that again, another game. The game of life had yet again rolled a number lower than three, making him loose, yet again.
But now watch as I rise To a whole new height
And my mad battle cry Will be heard all night
Disturbed, saddend, red-violet eyes flashed. He walked, just walking. He had won, yes, but it didn't feel too great. He was sick of always winning, he hated loving people, it always ended in shadows. He pressed his frozen palms against the warm glass of the new cafe.
You keep on playing
Those dark shadow games and
No I won't be beat again
You keep on playing Those dark shadow games and
All this time I've prayed my friend...
The red-violet eyed man took a seat, settling nicley, asking for a cup of warm coffee. Hot tears came to his eyes, but he refused to let them go.
So now you know after time has passed
You can never be sure you're always the best
Cuz I'm back from the shadows
Coming after you On the brightest day If your darkest hour
Blue eyes banged his fists onto the table, how could he loose THIS match. There was no way. He stood studying the green wall. Blue and yellow had to make that, HE was his yellow. He reached for his trench coat, returning it to it's rightful place, then reaching for the door.
So now watch as I rise To a whole new height
And my mad battle cry Will be heard all night
You keep on playing Those dark shadow games
and No I won't be beat again
You keep on playing
Those dark shadow games and
All this time I've prayed my friend...
The golden haired, red-violet eyed man finished his coffee, struggling with his emotions, he was sick of being one step lower that HIM. And now, he had won, he was no longer lower. He was himself, independent.
You destroyed the future with your past
Forgot the lesson of the test
You never understood the blessed
Too bad today will be your last
He stood, returning his coffee mug to the rightful place in the small cafe. As he turned to reach for the door, red-violet eyes met blue. He stood outside the door, leaning against the bike rack. Blue eyes reached for him as he left the cafe, red eyes turned, pulling his hand away...taking two steps backward, then turning, at last making his way back to his rightful home.
So now watch as I rise To a whole new height
And my mad battle cry Will be heard all night
You keep on playing
Those dark shadow games and
No I won't be beat again
You keep on playing Those dark shadow games and
Blue eyes yelled something after the man, he didn't budge, just kept walking. He ran after him, jumping in front of him, confronting him. One hand belonging to him, ran it's finger across his cheek, begging him, apologizing.
All this time I've prayed my friend...
The red-violet eyed man, turned his head slightly, thinking. Then finally loosing for the first time to his one opponiate, he turned and nodded. Tan skin met tan skin, and pink lips met pink lips.
You keep on playing Those dark shadow games
and No I won't be beat again...
