I should have known this would happen.

I mean it was only a matter of time.

Father told me about his experience with a similar wonderful work of nature. I just thought he was crazy, but I understand now.

. , .

This delectable creature stole my heart when I was in 5th Year. I was in the Great Hall enjoying my breakfast, at the Slytherin table, when I saw her. She was so beautiful. I've seen her around before, but I've never gotten a good look. Now that I have, I just know that I must have her.

I must have been staring because my housemates were looking at me funny.

"Are you okay there, Scorpius?" Angelo Zabini, my best friend asked.

"Um, yeah," I answered.

"Just asking because you're acting kinda weird," he said, sounding concerned.

"Oh?"

"Are you okay? Do you want to go to the infirmary?"

"No! I'm just a little tired, that's all."

"Okay then." Angelo said, sounding suspicious. "I'm going to go to my Charms class" Then he left.

Good job you bloody idiot! He's going to be watching me more closely today. I sighed, took one last look at her, and walked to my class.

Lunch could not have come any slower. I was finally going to see my love again. There she was, sitting on Slytherin table, like some kind of goddess. She looked even more beautiful since breakfast. I gathered up all the Gryffindor courage, I inherited from my mother, and walked up to her.

I don't even think she noticed me, so I just gazed at her. Her beauty was indescribable. I was just about to greet her when someone just snatched her away. I was furious.

I followed this "thief" out of the Great Hall and into the hallway. I kept following him until we were in a deserted corridor. I had him.

"Hey," I said to the thief's back.

He turned around. It was just a first year Slytherin.

"He-hello Scorpius."

"I believe you have something of mine," I told the clueless boy.

"I do?" He asked, sounding even more confused.

"Yes, you do. Can I have her back?" I asked as nicely as I could, even though my temper was rising.

"I-I have no idea what you're talking about."

"Oh, I think you do. Now give her to me before I'm forced to break out my wand," my patience wearing thin with this criminal.

"B-b-but I really don't sir." I could tell the kid was scared.

"Look kid, I'm a Malfoy and Malfoy's get what they want. And I want what is in your pocket. Now we can do this easily and no one gets hurt or we can do this the hard way and well, I think you know what will happen."

"You want my this?" the younger boy asked, taking it out of his robe pocket.

"Don't manhandle her like that! She's delicate." I nearly jumped for joy when I saw that she was unharmed. She looked perfect.

"Sir, would you like me to get the nurse or a professor?" he asked, worried.

"What? Of course not. Now give her to me." I told him.

"Yes, Mr. Malfoy. Here you go." He tossed her to me and ran.

I don't know how long I stood there, just admiring her. It must have been a while because students were walking to their classes. So I put her in my breast pocket and walked happily to my next class.

. , .

I know it's crazy. We're two different people from two entirely different worlds. It doesn't matter now, but I just know that no one accept us. We're just too different.

But I love her and that's all that matters.

If my father can love an apple, I can love an orange.

As you can probably tell, this is my first story. So I don't really have anything else to say but please review :)
