This is real.
Sasuke is here. Touching him. Sasuke is real. It isn't a dream anymore.
Naruto's heart rate quickens at an alarming rate. But, he doesn't notice.
This is real.
He can't help it anymore.
He turns his head towards Sasuke and stares blatantly at his profile. Sasuke is regarding him from the corner of his eye.
Then he, too, turns and stares directly at Naruto. They watch each other closely. Sasuke with guarded unemotional eyes, Naruto with wide hopeful eyes.
Then Sasuke closes the limited space between them and brushes his lips against Naruto's.
The brunette watches for a reaction.
He then presses his lips against the blonds more firmly.
Naruto's breath hitches.
This can't be real.
Sasuke can't be here. Kissing him. Sasuke can't be real. It has to be a dream.
This can't be real.
Tears prick the edges of Naruto's eyes and he turns in Sasuke's hold. He grips the front of Sasuke's haori and presses into the kiss.
If this is a dream he never wants to wake.
