All right this is my first songfic. I hope you like it. This is about how Tai felt after he was rejected by Sora. I really like this song and it made me think of this couple. Well here is that stupid disclaimer message. I will do not and never will own digimon or the song "Pretty brown eyes". I hate writing that. Anyway, I digress, even though I'm sure you skipped this part. And I'm posting a poll if I should make this a oneshot or multiple chapters. I will check the esults next week.

Tai walks to Matt's show to see Sora with a present."Sora, wait up." Tai says walking up to her and Biyomon
"Oh Tai." replied Sora. She seems to be nervous about seeing him.
"Something smells good." Agumon says, smelling Sora's present to Matt.
"Matt's busy getting ready," Gabumon says coming from backstage. "But I'll take those to him. Mmm"
"I bet you will," Biyomon says sarcastically. "No way. You'll eat the whole thing yourself."
"I resent that. I'm on a diet." Gabumon argues back.
"So um Sora, are you going to the concert with anyone?" Tai asked hoping for her to say no. "I mean not that it matters to me. I was just asking." Tai said. He was ready to kick himself for saying he didn't care.
"No," Sora answers politely. "I want to be available in case Matt is free after the show."
"Oh," Tai says disappointed. "I see, Matt huh." If you were close enough, you could hear Tai's heart shattering into a million pieces. That's what it feels like when your best friend takes the girl you've loved for the longest. I would know personally. Sora seemed sad at Tai's response. But Tai is a good faker. "It's okay." Tai answers as if he is all right with this decision.
"You're not mad at me Tai?" Sora asks confused
"Of course not." Tai answers calmly. "Now get in there and say hi to Matt for me."
"Thanks Tai" Sora says
"The least you can do is leave us the cookies." Agumon whines towards Sora.
Sora just giggles. "Tell you what? I'll make some special one's for you" and on that note, she walked away.
"I'll be waiting. Thanks." Tai replied.
"You know what Tai?" Agumon said
"What?"
"You've really grown up."
"Look out" Davis's sister, June, calls out. "Incoming."
"Hey watch where you're June." Yells Tai.
"Sorry I'm in a hurry see Matt. All the girls think he is the cutest." At that point Tai was ready to lose it. But he kept his calmness.
"Agumon, could wait here with the others? I need to take a little walk alone."
"Sure Tai. Just make sure you're back before the concert starts."
"I'll be back by then" And with those words he walked away.

As he walked away, he thought about a song he heard on the radio a few weeks ago. It described his situation and he stated to sing it.

He really needed this walk. He felt bad that he couldn't the whole song though. Maybe he'll remember later. So he ran back to the show so he wouldn't miss his best friend perform.
