Han Lives.
Before Han stepped on the platform at StarKiller Base he carried a transmitter with him. The transmitter had a brother and it stayed with his friend Lando. They both carried a transmitter with them so if the other was in danger they were both a click a away. So, once Han stepped on the platform he clicked the little red button on top and he knew his long time friend would be there in a flash. Han knew he would be marking his death sentence but that didn't stop him. At least his body would be recovered. Lando's transmitter started buzzing while he was with a couple young twi'icks at a cantina in a near Star System. Lando dashed to his cruiser, a cruiser that was indeed the fastest in the Galaxy. He gather the coordinates and hit light speed. Lando, with luck on his side and big knot in his stomach staring at the bowls of a large death star saw the descending body of his friend falling, he knew immediately it was Han. Lando got underneath of him and scooped him up with the decompression chamber on his cruiser. Lando in shock seeing Hans wounds applied essential healing oils and dashed the the nearest medical facility. Hans body would be put in a healing chamber where he would lay for weeks, possibly months.
