Wish Upon a Full Moon
Time has past since Sailor Saturn's defeat. The future was restored and Queen Serenity was ruling over the moon. The Sailor Guardians were happy that the future was restored and their present timeline was peaceful once again. Everyone went back to living their normal lives cheerful as ever, except for Chibiusa. She was relieved that the world was safe, but she wished there would have been another way of saving it while preventing Hotaru's sacrifice. Hotaru was an individual that Chibiusa loved more than other people. She always thought about her ever since. She was in high school now and Hotaru never left her mind. After school, she went into her room laid on her bed with her face in her pillow.
"Why couldn't there have been another way. I miss her. I want to see her face again." She said weeping.
Not long after, Usagi opened the door and walked in.
"Hey Chibiusa," she said.
Chibiusa ignored her.
"What's wrong?" Usagi asked.
Chibiusa didn't move.
"Tell me, please, maybe I can help," Usagi offered sitting next to the bed.
Chibiusa didn't say anything.
Usagi realized that Chibiusa didn't want to be bothered so she got up and went to the door.
"Wait," Chibiusa said. "I miss Hotaru, I hate knowing that she won't come back." she added.
Usagi walked back to her, "I know it's tough, but there is nothing we can do to bring her back. Trust me, if there was a way, I would do everything I could to make it happen." she ensured making Chibiusa give a small smile. Then Usagi looked over at the alarm clock.
"Oh man, I'm really late, I gotta get to Rei's temple!" She screamed running out the door.
Later during the night, Chibiusa kept tossing and turning, but couldn't sleep. She got out of bed, she opened her curtains and saw a bright light the sky.
"It's a full moon," She said.
Then Queen Serenity came into her mind.
"Mother, if it is in your power, please bring Hotaru back as a pure innocent girl she once was. Let her have her own body and no one else controlling it. Please, I really miss her, she was a true friend to me." She pleaded as the moon glowed and faded back to the original bright light. She went back to bed with calmness and assurance.
