Tiny Love
Prologue: DK64: The Beginning
Tiny woke up to the sound of fighting in the house, she got up and got dressed as fast as she could, and ran out of her room. She saw her big sister Dixie laying on the ground injured, and a bunch of kremlings laughing.
"Hehehe! We don't have to worry about that monkey now!" The leader of the kremlings laughed. "Oh, but look, another monkey! Take her to that desert place and lock her up!"
"Yes General!" A kritter said.
Tiny tried to attack them, but there were too many and she was overpowered and thrown in a cage.
"With all Donkey Kong's friends captured, and his banana hoard stolen, K. Rool will be able to get his revenge!" The General laughed.
Tiny layed in the cage as the kremlings carried her to the desert they spoke of. All she thought about was how her sister was injured and she hoped she'd be okay.
Later…
Tiny woke up and looked around a bit, she had been thrown in a cave type area with one of Donkey Kong's golden bananas and locked in by big metal bars. She noticed buttons around the area outside the cage there were buttons that spelled KONG around the room.
She looked around some more, and noticed a heroic looking monkey wearing a red shirt with a star on it, as well as a red cap. He fought the kremlings in the area, and then pressed all the KONG buttons. The cage began to open.
"Thank you heroic monkey!" Tiny yelled to him.
The monkey turned and responded. "Call me Diddy." He said heroicly, "You can help me and DK find his bananas and stop K. Rool, right?"
Tiny paused for a moment and just stared at Diddy, she felt something she hadn't before, she had trouble responding, but she finally was able to say "Yes, I can."
"Okay, let's get moving, and see how DK has done at getting the bananas here!" Diddy exclaimed.
"Wait…" Tiny said shyly, "Don't forget the golden banana they threw in with me."
"Oh, thanks." Diddy said with a smile, "What's your name anyway?"
"Oh.." Tiny responded quietly. "My name's Tiny Kong…"
"Oh! Dixie's sister!" Diddy exclaimed, "She's told me about you before!"
"You know Dixie?" Tiny asked.
"Why of course!" Diddy responded, "Hasn't she told you about me? I'm her boyfriend!"
Tiny's heart sunk, she just realized she's fallen in love with her own sister's boyfriend. She tried to hide her feelings, but Diddy seemed to read her.
"Why so blue?" Diddy asked.
"Oh, it's nothing…" Tiny responded quietly.
"Well, we have a job to do, hopefully helping DK find his golden bananas will help you get your mind off whatever is troubling you!" Diddy said confidently.
They met up with DK outside.
"Hey! You found Tiny!" DK responded, "Hey Tiny! How's your sister?"
Suddenly Tiny remembered that as she was taken Dixie was laying on the floor injured from fighting the kremlings. "Last I saw her she was injured!" Tiny said in a worried tone, "Someone needs to help her!"
"Dixie's injured! NO! We need to help her!" Diddy yelled in panic.
"Hey, don't worry, I'll arrange for Swanky to go help her, I need you two for my quest." DK responded.
"But I want to go help her!" Diddy yelled.
"If you want to be the hero you are, you have to think about the good of the island!" DK commanded, "You can think about your girlfriend later! Heck, if K. Rool gets away with what he has planned, the whole island, including your girlfriend will be gone! Swanky has been of no use for the journey, as he hasn't helped us at all, and he can't fight, so he's the perfect candidate to take care of Dixie."
"Ok…" Diddy responded.
