Rose stared down at the small, yellow communications device in her hand, taking a deep breath and closing her eyes. This would be her last chance to say it. She prised her fingers off the button, cutting off the link for a few seconds so he couldn't hear.
"You know something? You're the daftest alien I've ever met – and that's saying something after all this time. But I love you…you know that I love you. And I'm sorry." The comm. dropped to the floor and she ran as the devil himself broke the only link between her and the Doctor.
A/N: First drabble! My excuse is that it's too short to be classed as writing as fic so it doesn't matter that I'm not revising :P That was hard. Any opinions?
