Small locks of her curly brown hair fell over his face. Her lips doted kisses to the back of his head. Her little bump pressed against his back.

"Stop working," she whispered into his ear. "The baby wants to have some time with you too."

He let out a long sigh and shut his book, pretending to be annoyed. He felt her lips smile against his ear.

"I have a lot of documents to sort through, Katara. A couple of old laws need to be changed." He rolled his head back and looked up into her beautiful blue eyes. Her lips jutted out as she put on her puppy eyes.

"Katara," He groaned. She laughed. It was beautiful. Her laugh was the most beautiful thing he had ever heard. The first time he heard it, he was stunned. After a million times of hearing it, he was still in shock that any creature could make a noise so gorgeous.

Katara took his hands and placed it on her stomach. In it contained their first child. They had already decided on the name: Lee if it was a boy or Kya, after Katara's mother, if it was a girl. He looked up at his wife.

"Just a little bit. You deserve to relax. The Fire Nation will be perfect as it always is when the baby is born. It'll be a long time before he has to rule." She took his hands into her own and gently swung them back and forth. She started to tug him out of the chair.

Reluctantly (though, really, not reluctantly at all), her husband stood up from his chair and pulled her into a close embrace. He buried his face into her hair and inhaled her scent. There were a thousand moments like this they shared that he wished he could remember forever. Of course, since he had her, he'd never really need to remember it, since he could just make another memory at any time.

"Zuko…" she whispered against his shoulder.

He made a small noise. "Hmm?"

"I love you."

"I love you more."

She laughed and pushed him off of her. "Don't start this now because you know I'll win it!" Her smile lifted his spirits immediately. If it wasn't her general presence that de-stressed him from hard times his nation was in, her supportive and understanding attitude is always what made him feel better. She understood he was working so hard now so nothing would go wrong when the baby came, but she also knew that he only really wanted to spend time with his family: Katara and the baby.

"Yes, but I'm the real winner because I won you." His forehead pressed against hers. Their eyes, blue and gold, stared into each other. If there was ever a perfect moment, this was one. The Fire Lord was married to a woman he loved. He and his best friend were building relations between all the other kingdoms. The hundred year war was long over. He and his wife were expecting the heir to the throne and he was expected to be completely healthy. No one was bothering the two. Every day, their love only seemed to grow stronger.

Zuko stopped. "Wait, did you say 'he' earlier?"

Katara blushed and bit her lip. "Gran Gran says it's going to be a boy. Prince Lee will be here with us in just a few months, Love."

Zuko grinned at his wife before leaning down to kiss her… And kiss her and kiss her and kiss her.

"Prince Lee."

I'm currently working on Prince Lee's story. I just really wanted to make a super-short cutesy moment with Zuko and Katara. Expect other little moments of the family as I continue to work on Prince Lee.
