Perhaps I shouldn't have been so surprised. I did bring the outfit to him, after all. However, I didn't take a good look at it until the little brat actually put it on. Even Sesshoumaru would have had trouble keeping his stone face from cracking at that moment. I think I did very well indeed just to keep myself from laughing in my younger brother's face. My fan hid the mocking smile I was unable to suppress.

The boy was wearing big round buttons!

I had just grabbed the first thing I saw that looked to be about the right size; I didn't really care about style. Ch! A child like that, ordering me around? He should feel lucky I didn't give him a girl's outfit instead. If he cared at all, he could go get his own damn clothes.

Big colourful buttons, against a white background!

I thought he would object the first time he got a clear look at his reflection. I thought that one of the demons he set out to kill would start laughing and point it out that way. I never thought that he would simply remain oblivious to it all.

Bright blue and yellow! The size of a child's fist!

I had forgotten to take into consideration the fact that this was one of Naraku's spawn. I hate Naraku, I loathe him, I despise everything he is…but it's hard to take him seriously when the bastard looks so damn silly. First, the fling with the baboon skins, and now he's partial to dragon tails and fancy bone structure. Don't get me started on that stupid eye-thing, either. What's it supposed to do in the middle of his chest anyway?! Compared to Naraku's foolishness, even Hakudoushi's indifference is a step up the ladder. Any ladder.

Maybe Hakudoushi's colour-blind. If he got it from Naraku, it would explain so much about my siblings.

He might also be compensating for something, what with the size and number of those buttons. After all, he used to be part of an adult male…and is now prepubescent…

Heh heh heh.

Hakudoushi can tame as many demon horses as he likes. He can slay a thousand demons, mastermind any number of plots within plots, and act as disturbing as only Hakudoushi can… Nevertheless, it's hard remembering to be scared of someone who obviously has trouble tying laces.

A/N: Coming next…Tekkei, the Demon Chicken!

I love Kagura. That girl's got style and sass. I'm also thinking of something to do with Kanna, because she has so many possibilities. And for Sess/Kag shippers (I'm only writing this because the pairing annoys me), why on earth would someone go for Kagome when Kagura is a definite possibility?

Spoiler

Yes, I know she dies in the manga, but it was a mistake in my mind. She's far too intriguing a character to let her slip away that easily; especially when there are so many crafty little fanfic writers who would love to work with her. (Me!)

End Spoiler

Let's see how long this writing craze will last, people… Until next time.

PS: I don't own Inuyasha. If I did, a hearty round of wake-up calls would have been issued by now. And Ayame would be part of the manga. ;)
