Dawn was cracking
Mad men were hacking
Dragons were raiding
Lives were fading
.
The deed was done
Defying the instinct to run
The purpose was made
The map was laid
.
The Gronckle was released
The great big beast
One remained
And another gained
.
A friendship was won
Out in the sun
His head turned away
Led to a new day
.
He became a Viking
Became respected in the ring
But to no avail
His purpose no longer to prevail
.
His father came home
They talked… alone
He was finally proud
And joined his son's crowd
.
The dreaded day soon came
As did a dragon who was tame
But enough said
The villagers wanted them dead
.
The journey to the nest
Showed hiccup's best
He saved the day
But with a price to pay
.
He woke up later
His fame was greater
Dragons and Vikings together
From now till forever

so I was looking at the stories I favorited and noticed a poem in it. I then saw a few more good httyd poems and realized that there weren't enough httyd poems out. Just a quick little poem, I swear this is the easiest thing I've ever done, and I urge you all to try believe me, poetry is a lot easier than its made out to be. I wrote this to put in my community: HTTYD poems.
