Dear Sir,

My daughter is dying.

From what I understand from Daskar, you are the only doctor in any direction for days and Christine does not have that long. I, of course, love her very much and would do anything for her. Unfortunatly, despite his fortune, the Viscount de Chaney cannot buy more time. Please help me sir, for she is the only thing that I have left.

We will give you anything. We will do anything to get Christine well again. The Viscount is willing to help me pay if I am unable to meet your standards.

Please get back to us soon, for time is short.

Sincerely,

Gustave Daae
