I thought of this and it won't get out of my head, so I wrote it down to see if you like it or not.
Seto's POV
I ran after the golden-haired dog that just turned around the corner. What's going on you ask? Well I'll explain. My driver was sick today so I was walking home, when I saw this dog. He was injured, and I'm not as heartless as you might think. I was close to my home so I took him there to care for his wounds. They were nothing too serious.
The dog made me think of Joey in a way-gold hair and honey brown eyes. Of course, he would be mad at me if I called him a dog again. The fights between me and him have settled down a bit. We weren't calling each other nasty names anymore, now it's more playful. Yeah….
Alright, I'm crushing. I got it bad…I know I do! So stop it!
Well, I had no problems with the dog until five minutes ago. He suddenly jumped up like he heard something and ran out the door. And now I'm running after him; he is still injured, you know.
I ran into the forest of Domino. Most people don't come in here because of the many wild animals that live here. The deeper I came into the forest, the darker it became; and that is weird since it is already late.
Then I heard something, it sounded like crying…of a baby. But that's impossible, right?
The dog slowed when we got closer to the sound. I couldn't believe that he hadn't heard me following him. He walked to a tree that had a big hole beneath it. He got something out of it, and it was indeed a small child, not even a year old.
The dog started to lick the tears off its face, then I heard something crack beneath me. The dog looked up as it stepped protectively over the child.
"Go." Wait?! Did that dog say something? I stepped closer, "I said, 'GO.'" He took an attack position. I stepped closer, and then he saw me. He relaxed his stance, but still stood protectively. I looked at him. "What are you doing here?" I gave no answer since I couldn't really see him that well.
The dog sat down next to the child and suddenly started to change…into…..into a human? I stepped closer. I could see it clearly now. There indeed sat a human-well not really a human-and it is someone I know. I looked at the messy golden hair, with two dog ears pointing out of it, and the honey brown eyes that stared at me, and then I noticed a bit of fangs instead of teeth. And a tail from his backside.. "J-Joey?"
He sighed, then lifted the baby in his arms, rocking him to try calming him down. "Yes, Kaiba?"
So that is it. It's a cliff-hanger. I couldn't help it. Haha, see you next time! (If I decide to continue this.)
