"Today has been the best day of my life, I'm glad I spent it with you." Drew said to me. I searched his face for any sign of fake, but found complete sincerity. I smiled and said "I'm glad I spent today with you as well". As we skated, I couldn't help but notice a few cracks on the ice. It's nothing I told myself. Me and Drew talked some more as we skated on mom's pond. "So, do you want to stay for-" I looked down at the ice, only to see it breaking under Drew's feet. "DREW!" Startled, his head shot up and looked at me in shock as a pushed him out of the way. "May! NO!" Was the last thing I heard before I plunged into an icy cold sleep.
