Chapter 1
Yugi Mutou made his way to the observation room. He walked down the long hallway, notebook in hand, and ready to observe. As he walked into the room, he noticed his partner wasn't in the room. He sighed, and set down his notebook. "Hey boss," Joey said, running in. "You're late Joey," Yugi growled. "I'm sorry....I had to help out Azra with the security stuff."
Yugi nodded, and sunk into the chair. "Are the specimen in the rooms?" He asked. Joey nodded, and flipped the switch. The lights turned on in the two observation rooms, and all three specimen starred at them. "I checked their health, heart rate, muscle strength, and their brain structures." Yugi stared at the monitor that had all the facts. "Muscle strength?" He questioned.
"Yeah! You told me to get to know them as much as I could." Joey stated. Yugi chuckled, and shook his head. "Alright, what did you find out?" Joey started with the first specimen. "Well the one that goes by Marik, is quite the character. His muscle strength is astounding! And he is very healthy for his age." Yugi nodded, and stared at the creature. He sat in the middle of the floor, with his head down.
Yugi stared at him curiously. "We need to get Azra to ask him some questions....see if he'll answer," He said. "I don't know if he'll even talk. He's the quiet one. The second one goes by Atem. His muscle strength isn't as unusual as Marik's. Normal heart rate, and he's is also very healthy."
Atem stood in the middle of the room, staring blanky at them. His crimson eyes staring at them curiously. "And the third one, who goes by Bakura, has also amazing strength. He is sort of healthy, must have drunk alot years ago." Bakura stared at them, his arms crossed. "He's not a friendly creature," Joey muttered.
"Good work Joey. Maybe we should close down for the night. Have Azra meet us tomorrow morning, so we can get some questions out of these creatures," Yugi said, writing a couple things down on his notebook. Joey nodded, and turned off all the monitors. He made sure the specimans were in place, and turned off the lights.
Yugi made his way to his room, thinking about Marik. He was very curious about that one. Only because he didn't seem aware of the situation. Yugi shook his head, and walked into his room. He just needed some rest. Tomorrow they will find out more about them. They may even tell them who they are, or were.
