Movie Night is Fun

Crossover: Doctor Who and Eureka. I own neither.

"Movie night is fun," proclaimed Tess.

"Well, Tess, dear," said the Doctor, "it might be even more fun if you would let me pick some of the movies."

Dr. Fontana just stuck her tongue out at the Timelord, and scooped another handful of popcorn out of the bucket they were sharing.

They'd found the old popcorn maker in a museum on Peladon. And after all the trauma of their recent battles with the Silence, they had needed a break, some kind of recreation. So, the Doctor had found a spare room with a view screen, and Tess had performed some nifty rewiring on an older model DVD player. Pretty soon, they had had themselves a bona fide entertainment center right there in the TARDIS.

It had been a great idea, thought the Doctor. However, as he watched his latest redheaded companion pop the night's third film into the player, he swore a silent oath that, no matter how long it took, and what laws of time travel he had to break, he would do everything in his power to prevent one pair of fictional characters named Harold and Kumar from ever meeting.
