A/N: This is how I think Castle will get to work with 12th again.

Castle was sitting on the couch watching his wife walk back and forth across the living room floor. Processing the news she had just received. Castle was no longer aloud to work at the 12th.

"What how could they just do that!" Beckett yelled.

"I don't know, but they did." Castle answered.

"This is not fair!" Beckett yelled.

Castle took her in his embrace and kissed her hair and whispered," I know, but we will get through this together."

Beckett then smiled into his chest.

I rolled over to see Castle still asleep. I carefully got out of bed making sure not to wake him in the process. I grabbed my phone and walked out to the kitchen to make a phone call. I scrolled down my contacts until I reached the M's. I quickly found her name since she is the third M contact I have. It ringed a few times until she answered.

"McCord." She answered.

"Hey, McCord it's me Beckett you know how you owe me a favor." I said.

"Yeah." McCord said.

"I need that favor." I said.

"Okay, what is it." McCord asked.

"I need you to call Captain Gates and tell her that Castle is allowed to work as a consultant for the NYPD. " I said.

"Okay, but do I want to ask why Castle is not allowed to work as a consultant anymore?" McCord asked.

"No." I answered simply.

"Thank You." I added.

"Anytime Beckett." McCord said and hung up.

Morning quickly rolled by and Castle was up and sipping at his coffee at the island.

"Hey, Babe I have a surprise for you." Beckett said emerging form their bedroom.

"What is it?" Castle asked.

"You are allowed to work as a consultant at the NYPD again." Beckett said.

"Really!" Castle said jumping off the bar stool.

"Yep." Beckett answered.

"But how?" Castle asked.

"McCord owed me a favor and since you are my husband and it kills me to see you sad I used my favor to get you back in the NYPD." Beckett said.

"I love you, you know that right?" Castle said.

"Always, I love you too babe." Beckett said and kissed Castle's lips with a lot of passion.

After getting the call from Gates, Beckett and Castle grabbed there things and walked to the car. When they arrived at the precinct Castle jumped out.

"Calm down Castle, your nine year old on a sugar rush side is coming out." Beckett said and grabbed Castle's hand and lead him to the elevator.

When Castle walked into the precin he looked around and smiled.

"Castle your back!" Ryan yelled.

"Bro, what you doin here?" Espo asked.

"Beckett used her favor with McCord to get me my job back." Castle said.

Ryan then yelled out, "Everyone, Castle is back." Everyone in the precinct applauded, even Gates.
