Lily Kane is pissed off. She broke like a million rules to watch the prom happening, and apparently that isn't allowed, and come on, like she really was going to miss the prom? Because even Lilly knows that this is "dwelling in that past" or whatever, but come on, the prom is a high school experience. It's practically vital to her existence, the ultimate teenage memory. If she even has an existence now or whatever. She's not even sure if she can have memories.
But she had planned it all out, and then some dumbass seniors got drunk at Magic Mountain, and god can you get any tackier? Lily would definitely wait until after the roller coaster ride to get totally wasted, and not from some bottle wrapped in a brown paper bag. But that whole fiasco was over, because the new thing was Alterna-Prom, which was a pretty lame name but then again Logan wasn't the most original person. At least he put thought into things.
The problem was, he didn't put thought into the right things. For example not screwing some middle aged housewife related to Dick. Because Lily's done pretty low things, but anything even tangentially related to Dick (the person obviously) is the absolute bottom of the food chain in her opinion.
Also Logan really needs to work on his timing. Because Veronica was definitely into him at the Prom-like thing, and if Lilly isn't going to be having a fun time on Prom night, then she needs to live vicariously though Veronica. And although Veronica definitely took off running from him, Logan could've caught up with her eventually. If she was Veronica she wouldn't need some corny straight out of a chick flick movie speech to know that Logan was into her. Really really into her. But then again if she was Veronica then Logan probably wouldn't be that interested in her. Because they have something special. And now Lily is reaching for something unHallmarky to say about Logan and Veronica, but what Logan said, however lame does fit. They're Epic. With a capital E. And so what if Logan slept with some skank when he was bombed out of his mind. They'll get back together someday. Fortunately for Lily, she has time to spare. But Lily snuck off to watch what was supposed to be her night, and at least if not her, her best friend's night. And the only person who got any action was Veronica's sidekick. If Lily were there things definitely would've gone differently. She even out of the goodness of her heart would let Veronica be with Logan. Maybe she would even nudge them a little bit. Because they really need some help and she is like the perfect woman for the job. How is she supposed to get over her life if the people she left behind obviously need her so desperately?
