Gangrene in Love

Ace sat in his cell along with the rest of his gang and his little brother little Arturo and Snake. They had been in jail for about a month and they were getting treatment for the gangrene. The warden said that after the treatment they could go back and going public again. The treatment would be over in another month and Ace would go into the third grade, I know he looks older then that but oh well, little Arturo in kindergarten along with Billie, and Gruber and Snake would go into first grade.
Years go by and Ace has just graduated from high school as top in his class. Surprisingly Buttercup was there and said her congratulations. Ace regretted the time he had tricked her because of her crush on him.
"What are you doing here Buttercup?" Ace asked.
"I just wanted to see how you were doing and I wanted to say congrats on being top in your class."
"Buttercup I know we've had some hard times in the past but do you think you can put that behind you. I've changed."
"You used me to get my sisters hurt."
"It didn't work."
"You still did it."
She started to walk away but he stopped her. "Please Buttercup I just did it so I could show off to the gang I never was going to hurt you."
"You were going to hurt my sisters though."
"No I wasn't I swear."
"How can I trust you after that happened?"
"You could give me a chance."
"Why should I?"
"Because I care for you a lot I always have. I love you Buttercup."
Buttercup looked at him stunned. "You love me?"
"Yes"
"I love you too. I always have ever since kindergarten."
Ace smiled at her and she smiled back. And in front of everyone at the graduation Buttercup and Ace kissed each other without a care in the world.
An old woman in the crowd said, "I guess a gangrene member has found love."
