This isn't what I wanted.

"Come on Courtney, don't do this!" the bad boy moaned.

"DON'T YOU FUCKING TELL ME WHAT TO DO!" the former CIT yelled back at him. Courtney dragged two large Gucci suitcases out from under the King sized bed; she plonked it on top and began rummaging through the drawers pulling out anything that was hers.

Duncan watched in pain as his girlfriend packed her stuff. It was their fifth argument this week, and perhaps their last. Usually their fights would get hot and feisty and lead to hot angry sex afterwards. But this one felt different. There was not heat or anger in the air. Just hate, pure hate.

"Don't you think that you're overreacting?" Duncan asked. As soon as Courtney looked at him from behind the closet doors, he wished he could take it all back.

Tears were streaming down her face screwing up her makeup; her gorgeous onyx eyes that used to be so full of laughter and life were now cold and dark. Her facial expression scared the shit out of the Punk. "Over reacting?" she asked in a bitter tone

"Over reacting" she clenched her teeth together.

"OVER REACTING?" this time she lost it. "YOU BROKE US! WHAT WE HAD IS BROKEN!"

"Look Princess I didn't mean-"he was cut off by a red Prada stiletto being thrown at his head, he dodged it and it made a small hole in the wall behind him.

He looked back at his outraged girlfriend, usually he would find her anger hot and it turned him on. But this was scary, he had never seen her get like this, it literally broke his heart.

"FUCK YOU" she yelled. Once all her belongings were packed away in her suitcases Courtney pulled them outside and threw them into the trunk of her silver BMW. Duncan chased her round the house as she began to take things that were hers such as family photos, books, laptop, make-up, hair stuff, work related belongings. He tried to convince her to stay.

"Babe please listen to me, I never meant to hurt you"

'SLAP!' a tanned hand came out of nowhere and slapped him right round the face, leaving a bright read mark.

"If you didn't want to hurt me…THEN WHY DID YOU DO WHAT YOU DID?" Courtney slapped him then began to storm down the stairs. On the way down she noticed a picture hanging on the wall. Suddenly the anger in her body bubbled and boiled over. Losing all control she picked the picture and threw it down the stairs smashing it.

Duncan sped down the stairs and followed her out to the car. Ignoring his protests; Courtney backed her car out of the carport and into the intense night storm. Drenched Duncan continued to bang against her window begging for forgiveness. With one evil glare from her eyes he backed away. Courtney mouthed 'I hate you' before speeding off into the night and out of site.

Broken hearted and destroyed Duncan headed into the house where he spotted the broken picture on the ground. He unclicked the lock and pulled out the photo. It was His and Courtney's prom photo. Courtney was stunning beautiful in the formal long navy dress, with her hair all curled back and sparkly silver eyes. He was in a rented black tux, looking like a dud standing next a 'miss universe'.

The smile on her face lit up the photo more than the flash from the camera, the smile he would never see again, the laughter that he would never hear again. It crushed him inside if there was anything left inside that wasn't heartbroken the smile in the photo would break it.

Cause she was gone. Because he hurt her.

She was gone forever, and it was his entire fault.

That wasn't what he wanted.
