Yay. Transformers stories. I'm obsessed. I like the way KitsuneTriforce structures her stories, with the disclaimers and things, and I also love her story, Day of the Black Sun. Go take a look. Anyway, I'll begin with this story.
Post after events of DoTM, about 6 months later. Events in AoE are not tied in with this story.

I don't own this, or any of the characters. The plot is mine, and if I decide to make any characters that are not from the Transformers multiverses, they are mine as well. Unless said otherwise.
Not a slash fic. It's friendship, with a fair share of angst amongst other things. Most of the story will be in Third Person View, omniscient.
PROLOGUE
There was energon and blood. Blood and energon. They were everywhere. No matter where you looked, they were there. Like Day and Night, both battling for more display. What's worse were the corpses that complimented the liquids. All kinds. Civilians and soldiers of both kind; alien and native. It was a remorseful sight, worse than any war in the past. Of course, those didn't involve any aliens. Regardless, the current war that was going on would certainly mark a place in history. But there was nothing to be done. Whatever's happened has happened. No changing the past, but of course there would be complications in the future. But of course, being the primitive race mankind was, there were obvious…debates about the past events that have taken place in the last 5 years, where the warriors of Cybertron took the war to Earth.
A lot has happened since.
The Great War of Mission City,
The war of the Matrix of Leadership,
And of course,
The Battle of Chicago.
Sadly, the war has not ended, but instead evolved to something far greater.
The crusade that took place between Autobots and Decepticon was no longer just that.
Humanity was now split between two sides.
Governments ceased to function.
And with the new onslaught of events, there was another problem; the Decepticons. There were several rumors as to what they were going to do, with Megatron deceased.
The new conflict, as everyone, no matter their alliance, knows that by the end of this struggle,
Earth will not be the same.
And neither will its inhabitants.
I'll lay it out for you if anyone is confused-
Basically, humans are split between exiling the Autobots and having them stay. Obviously, they have helped protect Earth, making sure that what happened to Cybertron would not happen to Earth. But others, like portrayed in Age of Extinction, thought that having aliens on Earth was a bad idea, especially after Chicago where they almost took over Earth.
What's worse; not only is the planet torn between two sides, they also have the Decepticons in the background, waiting.
