You were walking back to… well, you had been walking to someplace safe to stay the night. Normally you wouldn't stay in the city, you preferred staying in the woods where no one would find you. That probably wasn't the best idea, but it had kept you safe from other people, and in this mountainous area, there was a lot of caves you had stayed in.
Ebott city. Well known, and surprisingly lacking in humans, but that was probably because of the monsters inhabiting most of the city.
Monsters… They had been a surprise to everyone, everywhere. You had been startled when you first saw them. They were really something else. Rough around the edges, but kind. It was odd. Almost the opposite of humans. Humans acted kind, but were not the best to be around, considering how much the species as a whole had hurt everything.
A loud bang came from the dumpster next to you, startling you out of your thoughts. Squeaking, you backed up, wondering what the hell had climbed into there. You waited to see if anything else would happen, slowly lowering your hands away from your face as you heard quiet grumbling.
Cautiously walking forward, you opened the lid.
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT YOU IGNORANT WELP?" A loud voice echoed out of the dumpster, startling you and making you drop the lid on accident, causing another loud bang. It was tiny. Or he was, based on how masculine his voice sounded.
Lifting the lid again you watched the tiny bittie hiss at you.
"You're looking a little rough there, dude." You commented, wondering if you should help him, or if you should just leave the lid propped open. "Do you need help?"
"I DO NOT, PEASANT." he growled. You studied him for a moment, wondering what his exact type was. He seemed to be a cross breed of a Boss and a Baby Blue.
You slowly went to gently pull him out anyways, ignoring the pain in your hand as he (rightfully) bit you. Setting him down, you sighed.
"Hey, uh, I know I can't offer much. I don't even have a roof over my head... but you look like you could use a friend."
He blinked at you.
