Author's Note: I've decided to try my hand at a Wee!chester drabble. This is based on a True Story, in which my niece was trying to give her little sister a pep talk to help her feel better about not having her stuff done, but it ended quite differently than she had been assuring the girl...

Disclaimer: Supernatural does not belong to me, and yes- I know you all are extremely relieved.

"B-but Dad will be coming back from work. If I don't have my homework finished by the time he gets back-" Sam looks up at his brother pleadingly, and Dean shifts his weight. His little brother is hunched over the table, pencil in hand and a mess of papers strewn out over the table's surface.

He was supposed to have finished his homework earlier right after school, but had wasted his time playing outside with Dean instead. Now, it was close to nine o'clock, and their Dad was due home any moment from work.

Sam's homework still isn't done.

"Don't worry, little bro." Dean says, placing his hand on Sam's shoulder for comfort. "I'll explain to Dad what happened, and he won't have a problem. I won't let him. I'll even stay with ya."

Sam's lip twitch in a half grin. "Really?" he asks, hopefully.

Dean nods.

"Dude, I'll always be here for you-"

Dean's words are cut off short, when suddenly the sound of the back door opening fills the air.

John Winchester's voice rings out, "Boys? You still up?"

Sam sits up straighter in his chair, but the sound of running feet makes him frown. Turning his head, he just barely catches the glimpse of Dean's back as his older brother runs off, presumably to escape the inevitable tirade of one upset John Winchester.

Leaving his little brother alone.

Sam sighs, letting his pencil fall onto the table, and running his fingers through his wavy hair.

So much for his brother always being there for him.

END.

NOTE: Yay! My first Wee!chester! I'm super excited, and I feel like I've just graduated... from something. *shrugs* But, as for the True Story part? It is. True; I mean. I was there when it happened to my nieces, and I laughed and laughed about it for days afterwards.
