A/N: Hey! This is a short little one shot that B4deismylife and I wrote for the Victorious Pair Game contest by Cheese45! Hope you like it! (:
"Okay, everybody on the boat!" Beck exclaimed.
"Do we have to go? You know I don't go in the ocean." Jade said.
Beck shrugged. "We just do."
"I don't go in the ocean."
"Just this once. Kay?"
Jade sighed and got on.
"I can't believe you were able to get us this boat, Beck!" Tori said.
Beck turned around. "Well, I own it."
"Oh, yeah." Tori said, her face turning red.
Beck started the boat.
They had been riding for about an hour, chatting and having a great time, Cat being her usual bubbly self.
"Hey guys, one time my brother was on a boat and he - " started Cat.
"Hey, Cat. You're killing me!" Jade screamed.
Cat started to cry. Robbie set Rex down on the bench, and went and sat next to Cat.
"Look!" André pointed out to the ocean. "Dolphins!"
"Yay! I love dolphins!" Cat exclaimed excitedly.
"...dolphins?" Jade asked slowly.
"Oh god," Beck muttered.
Then suddenly, Jade screamed. Loud.
Robbie jumped, and he rocked the boat, sending Rex flying.
"Rex!" Robbie shouted, and lunged for Rex, but he was too late. The puppet fell into the ocean, and Robbie burst into tears.
Beck turned the boat around, and started going back. Robbie started crying harder.
Jade rolled her eyes. "Great, maybe now you can function like a normal human being," She said.
"Was that really necessary?" Tori asked.
"Yes. It's time he stop relying on that puppet!"
Beck sighed.
"Can you guys look for him?" Robbie asked.
"Rex is gone, Robbie. We can't look for him. The water's too deep," Tori said.
"Well, can we wait by the shore? Maybe he will come in with the tide!" Robbie said hopefully.
Jade moaned. "We'll talk about this later." Beck whispered in her ear.
"I'll wait for as long as you want, Robbie!" Cat said.
"Thanks Cat," Robbie said.
"Okay! Back to shore!" Beck said, and moved the gang back to the beach.
"It'll be okay, Rob," André said reassuringly.
"Yeah, I mean he can't be that far away. We're only a couple hundred yards from shore," Tori said, as they got off the boat.
"Yeah, I guess," Robbie agreed as they went to wait for Rex.
Meanwhile, under the sea, Rex was having an excellent time partying with the mermaids of Northridge waters.
"You could join my team. I call it Rex's All Hot Mermaid Volleyball Squad..."
