She was a young child, only of fourteen, but was destined for a land not of her own. Her name floated off the lips of those in the community that knew her as not the innocent child she truly was, but for the guardian she is, and for the sacrifices she must make.

An innocent child, who, by all means, should grow up and be a normal teenager, live a happy life with the one she truly loved, then die at a nice age. But she was destined for far greater happiness, and also far greater sadness than any we, as humans, and myths alike, will ever know of.

She was but a child now. At the tender age of 12. So close to teenager, yet so far away. Alas, she would not be alone on this journey. She will have her one companion, a wolf. But this wolf was like no other. She, the wolf, wasn't just a regular wolf, but that of a spirit created by shadows.
